Terms and Conditions of Bookings

Your booking is with  Savour this moment ('STM').   By placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with any and all other policies and documents mentioned in these Terms.


Making a booking


All bookings must be confirmed in writing by the Client (normally by email or text messaging).    

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required upon booking STM for the date of your event, and once STM has confirmed the booking.    This deposit will be deducted from the total costs (please see Payment of Total Events Costs below).   Payment methods available include bank transfer, debit card, credit card, and cheque.


Once your deposit has been received, we will confirm your draft menu, event summary and balance due.


Payment of Total Event Costs


Payment in full is required no later than 5 days before your event..  Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 5 days prior.   Once final numbers have been confirmed, we can accept increases in numbers, but no reduction will be possible.


Cancellation Charge


Should you have to cancel your event, SLM requires confirmation in writing at least 5 days before, otherwise full payment will fall due.  Your deposit will be retained.


Dietary Requirements and Allergies/Client’s own food and drinks


STM will endeavour to provide suitable adaptions to the Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than 48 hours prior to the event).


STM accepts no liability for any food supplied to the Client by another caterer (or food products suppliers by the Client themselves) in additional to those arranged by STM.
 

We have made every effort to describe and display our products as accurately as possible the Products on the Website. However, your Products may vary slightly from the description and images,  because most of our Products are handcrafted .  Colours and appearance you see when viewing on Our Website will depend on your computer and the resolution of your screen and/or monitor, and these may vary slightly from the actual Products.
 

Client’s use of STM's Property and Clients Personal Property
 

The Client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware supplied by STM, including any issues caused by the Clients guests.


Liability of STM


STM will not be held responsible for the theft, lost or damage to any personal effects of the Client or guests. 
 

STM accepts no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the figure of the existing STM Company Public Liability Limit of Indemnity. Note that this figure may change from time to time, and is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate.
 

General Delivery Information

In the case of delivery only of our goods, you are responsible for providing  us with correct and complete delivery details. STM will not be liabile for the  late  delivery or  delivery  failure as a result of being provided incomplete or inaccurate details.

Where we deliver your Product(s) in accordance with your instructions (whether to a 'safe' place, to a neighbour or otherwise) STM  will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to the Products following delivery. Any such instructions are given entirely at your own risk.

If delivery is not possible,  then  STM will leave contact details .   However, due to the short shelf-life of the product, STM will not be liable for any non-delivery for which the Customer is responsible.
 

Gift Vouchers

We offer one type of gift voucher for sale, a voucher providing a delivery only afternoon tea for any number of guests, priced at £35 per head.   This experience can be upgraded by the guest upon contacting us and paying the additional charge for that service.

Gift vouchers will expire 6 months after the date of purchase unless agreed otherwise by STM. 

Use of Personal Information 

By using Our Website, you agree to collection, use and processing of your information. We collect, store and process your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. For further details, please read the Privacy Policy.
 

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Website, its content and the Products displayed belong to STM and are protected by intellectual property rights. You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in Our Products or the content on 

Our Website shall remain at all times vested in STM.

You agree to use Our Website lawfully and to not copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, transmit or commercially exploit anything on Our Website in breach of Our intellectual property rights.

How to make a complaint

In the unlikely event that we fail to meet  our high standards of customer service, please do not hesitate to contact STM by emailing info@savourthismoment.co.uk, or calling our Customers Services number on (07354) 478572.

We aim to provide an initial response to a complaint by email within 24 hours from receipt or the next working day (excluding public holidays). This may change during busy periods.

Force Majeure

STM shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond STM's control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock down.and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.
